Just a few kilometers away, at the foot of the mountain, travelers can visit the traditional village of Kazaviti that has survived through the ages from pirate attacks and it’s definitely worth exploring. Kazaviti is a protected traditional heritage village with charming local architecture renowned for its picturesque tavernas and authentic local dishes. Also worth exploring is the archaeological museum where visitors can see the original marble inscription of the 1st law ever written for wine trade, as well as the famous amphorae for its transfer.

Our day trips start and finish from Potos or Limenaria located in the southern part of the island, leaving at 10:00am and returning at 18:00pm. Our regular excursion includes our own brand new sailing boat (HANSE 385) with an experienced skipper and co-skipper. All fuel and taxes, drinks (coffee, wine, juice and soft drinks) are included in the price. While you are swimming, sunbathing or simply relaxing, we will prepare your meal. This comes as option of either an appetizer and main course with Greek salad or a traditional meze accompanied with Ouzo. Of course, you can always taste the famous wine of Thassos. The transfer to and from the port is not included but can easily be arranged. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific requirements.
